Welcome to Together We Grow

Hi, I’m Ryan Michaels, and I created Together We Grow because I know what it means to fight battles you can’t see.

As a 100% disabled veteran and an abuse survivor, I’ve lived through—and am still living through—mental, emotional, financial, and systemic abuse. My struggles with mental health aren’t just part of my past; they are part of my reality today. And I know I’m not alone.

I started Together We Grow because I wanted to be the light I wish I had during my darkest moments. I wanted to create a place where no one feels ashamed or isolated for what they’ve endured—a place where people can find hope, understanding, and real support.

At Together We Grow, we believe mental health should never carry stigma or shame. We stand for compassion, truth, and transparency, and we are dedicated to breaking the cycles of harm and silence that so many of us have experienced.

Through Together We Grow, I aim to:

  • Raise awareness about mental health struggles, especially those tied to trauma, abuse, and systemic failures

  • Educate and empower individuals so they can heal, advocate for themselves, and support others

  • Advocate for real change, working to end the stigmatization and systemic injustices that keep people suffering in silence

  • Build a community where every person feels seen, heard, and valued, no matter what they’ve been through

I dream of Together We Grow becoming a worldwide movement for kindness and change, a place that gives back, uplifts others, and stands up for what’s right.

🌿 Join me, and let’s grow together—so none of us ever have to walk this path alone again.
