C.A.M. | Exposing the Truth, Demanding Justice

Shining a Light on CPS Injustice
The CPS Accountability Movement (C.A.M.) was created to shine a light on the injustices within Maine’s child welfare and family court systems. Too many families have suffered in silence, denied transparency, accountability, and basic human rights in a system that should be protecting them. C.A.M. exists to change that.
With firsthand experience of the failures of Maine’s Child Protective Services (CPS), I, Ryan Michaels, founded this movement to demand real reform. Parents and children alike deserve due process, fairness, and a system that prioritizes the truth—not power, corruption, or hidden agendas. C.A.M. is a call for justice and an unwavering commitment to exposing the truth.

Mission
C.A.M. stands for CPS Accountability Movement—a movement dedicated to advocating for transparency, exposing injustices, and ensuring that families impacted by CPS’s failures have a voice.
Our mission is simple but powerful:
✔ Demand transparency in child welfare investigations and family court proceedings.
✔ Hold CPS accountable for unethical and unjust practices.
✔ Empower families with knowledge, support, and a platform to share their experiences.
✔ Advocate for legislative reform to protect families from systemic failures and misconduct.
We believe no parent should be silenced, no child should be used as a pawn, and no family should be torn apart without just cause.

Vision
C.A.M. envisions a future where:
🌟 Parents and children receive fair treatment in family courts.
🌟 CPS operates with full transparency, preventing abuses of power.
🌟 Families impacted by CPS failures are heard, supported, and protected.
🌟 Systemic change is driven by advocacy, awareness, and action.
We are not just fighting for individual cases—we are pushing for systemic change that will protect families for generations to come.
